Taking on a new home build or major renovation is a big freaking deal.

After all, it may be one of the largest investments you’ll ever make. (Eek!) That’s why when you’re relying on others to create your most personal, beloved space, you need an interior design team that gets it (and gets you).

At LL Design Co, we care about our clients like we would our closest friends. We’re all about transparency, trust, and having a healthy sense of humor. A major home design project often lasts at least 9 months, so finding a partner you can cheers to the wins with and comfortably talk through challenges over a glass of wine is a must in our book.

Good Vibes Only

We’re down-to-earth and unpretentious, because design should be chic, not snooty.

Honesty is the best policy

We’re always transparent and communicative—it’s the best way to build trust and achieve success.

How it all Began

Sisters Lisa Rossman and Lena Campbell have always shared similar passions and been each other's biggest cheerleaders, despite their age gap. Not until after high school did Lisa realize she wasn’t the first in the family to pursue a career in interior design. It turns out Lena had studied design, too, and worked in the industry before starting a family. So in 2017 when Lisa decided to leave the corporate world and launch her own boutique firm, she leaned on her sister for advice, and ultimately, asked Lena to be her business partner. The rest is history.

As for the company name? It’s a little tribute to their dad, who had a particular affinity for the look and sound of double Ls. (Before they both were born, he’d insisted they have first and middle names starting with the letter), and so, LL Design Co. was born.

California & Tennessee

Meet Lisa

After 10 years of sharpening my design skills at major firms in Downtown Chicago and Southern California, and immersing myself in every corner of the industry, I bet on myself, took a terrifying leap to start my own boutique firm from scratch, and haven’t looked back. From helping dozens of amazing families design their forever homes to building close-knit relationships with the best builders, architects, and creators in town, I’m constantly inspired and motivated by the communities that surround me.

Now, as LL Design expands the brand into Tennessee, I’ve fallen in love with the warmth of its people and the sense of peace this next chapter brings. The slower pace, the rolling hills, and the creative spirit here have reignited my passion for thoughtful, soulful design.

When I’m not with clients or on site visits, you can catch me finding the best neighborhood coffee spot with my goldendoodle, Ellie, capturing beautiful moments in black and white with my DSLR, or planning the next trip to my ultimate happy place — Italy.

xx Lisa
