Another one for the books! Or shall we say "blog"?
Our project began as a dated Cottage/Tuscan kitchen, which fell into the hands of a client with a more contemporary vision and great sense of design. Structurally, we removed the soffit above the cabinets, which allowed us to increase the overall size of the cabinet by 6" and add crown molding. We opted for a classic white shaker cabinet with a sleek Calacatta quartz countertop. With a fairly minimalistic base, we were able to play around with the backsplash and we choice a black and white pattern that added just a bit of depth. Add the brushed nickel hardware and new stainless steel appliances, and this kitchen really pops!
